Veteran's Projects
We have a few projects on the 2022 calendar.
The thought that veterans having placed their lives on the line to protect us and our country are homeless is heart breaking. A question frequently asked, "how can I do anything about it, I'm only one person?"
Individually we may not be able to resolve their problems. However, joining together we can help some to receive assistance with their mental, physical and housing needs.
Please feel free to share these projects with friends and neighbors, these veterans have earned the right to food, shelter and care. They feel that they don't matter to us. Let's prove them wrong.
Change for Veterans:
Son Light Bible Church has embarked on a year long program to gather all the extra change we receive, placing it in a large container in the Welcome Center. In December we will donate the collected funds to a reputable organization that supports our veterans.
